Jeffrey Kaufman Expands Practice To Include Mediation Services
Jeffrey Kaufman, named as a 2007 Northern California Super Lawyer, has expanded his practice to include mediation services, as an extension of his successful 30-track record as a litigator.
He decided to fill a need that he believes exists for effective mediators, people who really listen to what the parties need, create consensus and creatively find ways for all parties to be satisfied.
“Certain skills and personality types lend themselves to being a good mediator, and I feel I have those qualities. Too often, finding a mediator is like picking a pig in a poke rather than seeking someone with known critical qualities,” says Kaufman.
Kaufman has completed a 40-hour mediation training course and has been added to the panel of mediators for Marin County Superior Court. He has served as settlement judge in San Francisco.
